Chapter Three
Chapter Summary
Bruno went into his sister's room without knocking. Gretel was placing her dolls on a shelf, he always thought those dolls were spies. If he were to ever snoop in her room, Bruno thought the dolls would report back to her. She shouted at him for running into her room and he asked how long they would be staying at the Out-With house. The reply he got was the one he had been receiving ever since until the foreseeable future. That was when Bruno told Gretel about his window view and she saw.. what he saw. Unfriendly looking children..
Reaction
When I read unfriendly looking children, it confused me because in concentration camps, there were not just children but men as well. Also, just in case anyone did not know what foreseeable future meant it means the near future. This time, we get to read how both children; Bruno and Gretel, view this.
